Case Status — Active, Monitoring, and Closed

PraxPilot uses three case statuses to help you track where each patient is in their care journey.

Active

The patient is in active treatment. The protocol is in progress and you expect to make updates or generate follow-up protocols.

Monitoring

Initial treatment is complete and the patient is in a maintenance or observation phase. You are tracking progress but not making significant protocol changes.

Closed

The case is complete. No further protocol work is expected. Closed cases remain in your library and contribute to Similar Case Intelligence.

How to Update Status

Open the case and use the Status field to change between Active, Monitoring, and Closed.

Why Case Status Matters

Keeping case statuses up to date helps you:

  • Quickly filter your dashboard to focus on active work

  • Identify patients due for follow-up

  • Build a cleaner case library over time
