Saving and Finalizing a Protocol

Saving

PraxPilot auto-saves your work as you edit. You do not need to manually save changes in the protocol editor.

Finalizing

Finalizing a protocol marks it as your completed clinical decision for this case.

To finalize:

  1. Complete your review and edits.

  2. Click Finalize Protocol.

  3. The protocol is locked and a version is saved.

Why Finalization Matters

Only finalized protocols contribute to:

  • Adaptive Personalization (learning your clinical style)

  • Similar Case Intelligence (pattern recognition across your case library)

Finalizing after editing — rather than leaving drafts incomplete — is the single best thing you can do to help PraxPilot learn your preferences faster.

Version History

PraxPilot tracks all versions of a protocol. You can view and restore previous versions from the Version History panel inside any case.
